Year 3 with Word Count
I am so ready for a sunny weekend. A bit of a preview this morning is in the works. I have a full draft completed for our SI on Monday-my usual log of our orientation. I didn't like it at first but when I redid some of the early voice overs it started to move better and I feel in love with the process. Just to find the key and off you go. So this one needs some photos I don't have on my computers or the external hard drive I have with me. But I willb be home today to get it. I need some music and a bit of cleaning. I could revise some of the vo's but I think no, it's not really necessary for the log. It's okay. I used Imovie for the sake of speed and just in case I need to teach the program. I like using this more basic program when I am racing to a finish line. It doesn't allow for the cool effects and control of Final Cut, but I don't have to build the motion for each photo. I just kick in with the default-fine! Last night at break time Tuvia and I watched Last Chance Harvey together. What a sweet movie. Loved it...Who says it was smaltzy. We both were touched by its tenderness and the wonderful acting of Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson. Felt real to us. All good! We are hosting friends here tomorrow and then going to dinner at Jane's on Sunday. Perfect weekend and the sun, I see it!
